Aluminum Supplier: Oldcastle BE Reliance TC series curtain wall 2 ½” x 7 ¼”, 3000 series storefront system 2” x 4 ½” Thermal, aluminum storefront doors medium style, all in a bone white painted finish. Approximately 11,300’ total square feet of exterior aluminum curtain wall and storefront.

Glass Supplier: Insulated Units Guardian ¼” Grey with SNX 62/27 low e coating over ¼” Clear, glass fabricator Redbud, bullet resistant glass at cashier windows, glass fabricator Oldcastle-Grand Prairie.

This is a new justice center complex for the city of Hurst, police department, courts facility, all designed with new training classrooms, work out area, offices for complete staff members, break rooms, holding cells, court rooms. The project had many challenges from the curved insulated glass units at main entrance, coordination with electrical contractor for the illuminated lighting installed in the horizontal sunshade systems, as well as coordination with other trades on the exterior envelope portions of the project. The facility has an outside staff break room area located at the roof level of the facility.
