System and Products Used: | Approximately 41,000’ square feet, Curtain Wall systems 2 ½” x 6 ¾”, 2 ½” x 7 ½”, and 2 ½” x 10 ½”, storefront systems 451T 2” x 4 ½” center glaze, and 450 1/3” x 4 ½” center glaze, aluminum doors wide style heavy wall 10” bottom rails, 6” cross rails, aluminum supplier Kawneer Company, Inc. Exterior Glass makeup PPG ¼” Atlantica with Solarban 70XL Low E coatings second surface over ¼” Clear and PPG ¼” Atlantica with Solarban #60 Low E coatings second surface over ¼” Clear fabricated by Oldcastle Glass Shawnee, Oklahoma. The facility was constructed to be the third high school campus for the vast growing Eagle Mountain Saginaw School District, comprised of four separate building which are the main building, field house, stadium press box, and agricultural building, all equipped with the latest in technology for the new students and staff. Architectural features included custom 4” sightline at verticals and horizontals in the curtain wall systems, custom curtain wall application for press box, and large curtain wall elevations for allowing natural light into the facilities. Some of the challenges faced with this project were work in all areas of the complex been done simultaneously. |
