TCU Pamela and Edward Clark Hall and Marion Hall

Approximately 6,000’ square feet of exterior storefront and curtain wall glazing along with approximately 420 single hung and fixed window openings, storefront 2” x 4 ½” thermal front set 2450 series, curtain wall 2 ½” x 6” thermal front set 250 series, and 5500 series single hung and fixed windows with external aluminum mutin grids, all in a clear anodized finish, aluminum supplier Manco. All exterior glazing comprised of 1” insulated glass units with ¼” clear outboard lite with Cardinal #366 low e coating #2 / ½” air space / ¼” clear or spandrel at inboard lite as required, all supplied by Manco Window Systems, Inc. Aluminum Storefront Doors supplied by Special-Lite Inc.

This facility consisted of two separate four story student dorm buildings connect by a commons building in the center of the complex. This project was designed and developed to improve the fast growing student population at the TCU Campus. One of the main challenges involved with this particular project was the condense time frame for completion in order to make room for new incoming students.
